The thing is, an important aspect in developing a game is communication. It's also why, so often, it requires multiple people to work on, say, a game.
In all likelihood, one skill set is much more preferred over another. Not a lot of people can pull this unique set of skills off flawlessly. It's time consuming, requires a lot of skills, and an intense amount of knowledge in both art and in programming to pull off. Let's get this out of the way right off the bat: game development is hard. You're doing something I have wanted to do for years, but can't get the time to do! Go for it! I was really pushing to make this a thing, but something had to give and it may as well be this.įor the others doing this stuff, keep going. I hope no one gets disappointed with this. I've basically considered this a fallback plan in the event things go sideways with my other stuff. A lot of other personal stuff would have to drop by the wayside first in order for that to happen. Will I make another run on 3D animation? Don't know. I have so much on the go that learning and using such skills will have to sit on the backburner now. Unfortunately, real life is not slowing down.

What's more, the newest version of Blender has changed so much, not to mention I have forgotten so much by now no doubt, that I'd probably have to relearn and brush up on the basics before I can start attempting to crack into that software again. Well, like so many others, life got extremely busy. I actually made pretty good progress and thought that maybe I could start building stuff. A while back, I took it upon myself to start learning Blender.
